How often do you deliver?
We deliver on Monday evenings between 5-9 p.m. You will receive an e-mail reminder to set out your insulated cooler bag, ice packs, and additional cooler, if needed, the day before your delivery.

When do I need to place my order?
Since you will be receiving your deliveries on Monday evenings, you must have your order placed by midnight the preceding Thursday with any changes or special selections.

What is the difference in the Chewies and Chompies Dinners?
You will notice the difference in the textures of the Dinner purées. Since the Chompies menu is for 10-12 month babies with a few more teeth, the food products will be left chunkier than those in the Chewies menu. 

How do I change or cancel my subscription service?
You can manage your subscription from your account.

Is there a delivery charge?
There is no delivery charge. However, we have a minimum order requirement based on your location. Please see our How It Works page to see which minimum order requirement applies to your area.

Where is the food prepared and packaged?
All of our products are prepared and packaged at a licensed commercial kitchen called Indy's Kitchen located in downtown Indianapolis.  

What is your return and refund policy?
Due to the perishable nature of our products we do not accept returns. We want a happy baby and caregiver. If you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us immediately.

Do I get a refund if my baby doesn't like what I ordered?
A happy baby with a full belly is our number one priority. However, we do not issue refunds if your baby doesn't like a certain purée. Please see our Baby Bundles under the Menus tab to order an age-appropriate Intro Bundle for baby's taste-testing.  

What do I do if my baby has a food allergy?
All pertinent allergen information is listed with each product.


What do I do once my order has arrived?
The purées will arrive frozen. Simply remove your frozen items from the
 green insulated cooler bag and place them in the freezer andlace any baked items in the refrigerator immediately.


How do I prepare the purée?
You can thaw the purées in the refrigerator overnight, in a warm water bath, microwave, or stovetop. See our Learn page for more infor
mation on preferred preparation methods.
How much do I feed my baby?
We know that all babies have different appetites and lifestyles. Please see our Learn page for recommended daily portions. Remember that purées should be a supplement in a baby's diet and should never serve as a replacement of formula or breast milk. 

What is the shelf life of the purées?
Each item is packaged with a freezer expiration date. Once transferred to the refrigerator, they have a shelf life of two to three days.

When do I feed my baby the purées?
Please see our Meal Plans page for a suggested daily meal plan for each age group.

What do I do with the insulated cooler bag?
Unpack your ordered items, place them in the refrigerator or freezer as appropriate, and store your bag away for safekeeping. Then the next time you're due for a delivery, just leave your cooler bag and ice packs in your delivery spot on your delivery day and we will replace your ice packs with a new, frozen one along with your order.  

Do I have to be home during my delivery?
If you have signed up for a baby bundle, you do not have to be home during your delivery window. We will leave your order in your insulated cooler bag and the products will remain frozen for approximately two to three hours. 

Will you leave my order if it's really hot outside?
Indiana summers can get hot. We suggest during hot summer months that you leave an additional cooler at your door along with your insulated cooler bag and ice packs. Then when we place your order and new ice packs inside your bag, we'll leave it in your cooler.

How often should I introduce a new food?
We recommend waiting four days to introduce a new food item. This will help you identify problematic foods should your baby have a reaction. Please see our Learn page for more information.

How do I transition my baby to the next baby bundle?
When you're ready to move to the next bundle, send us an e-mail and we will graduate your baby to the next bundle. 

Will the purees grow bacteria?

Your bag will come with storage and thawing information. As long as these instructions are followed and the purees are kept frozen or in the refrigerator, bacteria will not grow. Also, make sure to not feed your baby directly from the container. Always transfer what the baby will eat into a different container and keep the rest in the refrigerator.
